Case studies
As a professional translator, I’ve had the privilege of helping many clients in the healthcare sector expand to the French-speaking market and consistently received positive feedback for providing high quality medical and pharmaceutical translations.
In this series, I present case studies of recent translation projects, offering a glimpse into the strategies, challenges, and successes that make each translation unique.

Patient Information Website on a Chronic Blood Disease
Over more than a decade of translating, I’ve worked on countless projects. Some were routine, others more challenging, and a few touched me deeply. The latter type of projects generally involved translating practical, hands-on information for patients living with chronic illnesses that profoundly affect their daily lives.
These experiences reminded me of the immense responsibility medical translators carry. We’re not just converting words; sometimes, we’re shaping how patients and their loved ones understand and manage their condition. No content comes closer to their experience.
So it was clear from the beginning, that I couldn’t post a case study series without including one of those meaningful projects. Here is a translation project I truly enjoyed—carefully crafted with jargon-free language, each sentence questioned for clarity, and above all, guided by empathy.

- Learning about the disease and become familiar with terminology within tight deadlines
